My dog trainer web site.

This site has access to dog training resources as well as Animal Behavior College info.
As you can see from the latest video Bruno and maxi at 19 months have a phenomenal amount of energy to expend. Their speed and grace continues to amuse us as they charge around the yard. Never having known Boxers before as well as we know these guys I am astounded by their energy, enthusiasm and zest for life. Of course, I was well aware that they are high energy dogs I am a high energy person so was not too disconcerted about that. However, from this experience I now see why many Boxers out there are a little on the chubby side. Even a 5K run will not tire them for long they really need extensive hard play as they are in the videos. When I see the speed they run in the yard I am awed by the way they hold themselves back to run at my pace which is about 8mins per mile. If they could talk I bet they would wish I was on wheels:)

Boxers have an incredible amount of energy to expend. A walk around the block does not cut it with them.

My bean bag where's my space?
 Snots on the window again!!
Wish you'd let me sleep in peace Maxi!!
A bundle of therapy.
Remember Maxi's favorite buddy the rabbit? He is still fond of it??
A great deal has been going on in the last year and I have been remiss in keeping up the blog. Bruno and Maxi are awesome dogs at 18 months  old. They passed their advanced training classes with flying colors and will rest for the summer before taking their Canine Good Citizen exam. I myself have recently graduated from Animal Behavior College as a certified dog trainer. So not only have Bruno and Maxi been providing therapy for my husband after his major accident they have helped me fulfill a dream of becoming a therapy dog trainer. Without these two guys our evenings would be miserable as that is when the pain kicks in for my husband. The dogs lie on him and give him the comfort and warmth that makes him able to relax and enjoy a good movie---of course he would prefer soccer and therefore enjoys it when I am out training reactive dogs in class!!Will post up lots if pics and some training videos for all to see. Thank you for you continuing support:)
