I have been extremely lax in updating my blog--partly due to work and study and partly due to health problems which thankfully are under control after a long six month illness.
That does not mean that the guys have not made amazing progress towards the goal of being therapy dogs. In fact they continue to surprise me as they approach their third birthday December 24th this year.
Maxi is very tolerant with everyone but does still tend to be overly social still. Bruno forever the guard dog remains a little skittish in some situations but copes through the target training we worked on with him. It remains to be seen whether or not working as a therapy dog will be too stressful for him. November 9th I will be meeting up with several therapy dog representatives to work out possibilities.
